The fact that this is the last day of classes before finals week somehow doesn't make me any more anxious to go. I shall, though. My algebra teacher has promised cookies. :)
I'm gonna miss that guy. He's funny, and things make sense when he explains them. And of course, like every other math teacher I've ever had and liked, he's not teaching the class I need to take next semester. No one I know was teaching Stats, just some people I didn't know and some I'd heard were bad. Needless to say I picked one I didn't know. Maybe they'll be funny, too, but they still won't be this guy.
Okay, this has to be one of those Friday the 13th Twilight Zone kind of things. I am going to miss my Algebra II teacher.
Clearly I need more caffine.
In other news, my tooth feels a lot better, but I'm still sick. I loathe being sick.
Though it did give me the opportunity, on Wednesday, to cough on a couple idiots who richly deserved it. I'm allowed extra time to take my tests because of my vision, so I take my Algebra tests at the Disabled Students office on campus. They're notorious for being scatterbrained, anal, and just plain stupid. Wednesday they outdid themselves by losing my test, and having the nerve to blame the fact that they "didn't have it" on my teacher, who must not have sent it. Never mind that I'd spoken to him about two seconds ago when I turned in my homework, and he said it should be over there, that he sent it- and knowing my teacher, and knowing DSPS? I believe my teacher.
So I, with my head cold and my sore tooth and my aching everything, had to walk back over to the math building, which is the other side of the Earth from DSPS, to pick up a copy of my own bloody test, because those morons couldn't find it. My teacher was not pleased- not with me, with them. I told him DSPS said they didn't have the test. His response? "No, they lost it."
I heart that guy.
And DSPS wondered why I was annoyed. Well, let's see, maybe it had something to do with them insisting that they couldn't "interrupt the class" to go get a copy of the test for me, I'd have to wait until noon when the class was out- no dice, guys, I have another class.
I ended up having to cut art to finish taking my Algebra test.
Yeah. Enjoy the cold, kids. You earned it.
