I love dyeing my hair. Except for the 30 minutes I have to sit in the kitchen without my glasses on so as to avoid dyeing my glasses, and the half hour I spend in the shower wondering if I'm ever going to get the excess dye out of my hair. (Oh, and the minute I spent frantically splashing water on the wall of my shower till I learned that the dye would come off, and I wouldn't spend forever with my shower looking like a scene from CSI.)

Actually, the worst part was letting my mother chop a half-inch wide, couple inches long test strip off one of the middle layers of my hair. She took it from where it wouldn't show, but... OMG someone is coming near my hair with scissors, run! I had a couple bad hair cut experiences when I was a kid, where I said make it a little shorter, and they made it a lot shorter. I don't look good with super-short hair, so this displeased me. But I looked in the mirror and you really can't tell where she did it, so yay!

So I'm sitting here all in black, with my spiffy new cranberry red hair, which I haven't seen in sunlight yet. I may be closer to that nice vibrant Syd color I was after than I thought- it's hard to tell when you dye your hair at night. Oops. Needed some sleep, though, so... yeah.

On the cold/allergies/whatever the hell front, my head started draining last night and I woke up able to breathe out of my nose. I'm taking this as a good sign- and popping another Advil Cold & Sinus on my way out the door to class this morning.

I wonder if anyone will know what I am. I wonder if anyone will know that I'm anything, besides the freak with the cane and now, red hair. So far I have decided there are two people I may tell who I'm dressed as, if they ask- my psych prof, and my buddy in psych class, who laughs with me at the stuff nobody else gets. Need to ask her for her notes anyway, since I cut class last Wednesday. Yeah, I was bad, and the kidneys were bugging me, so I decided to stay home.

I'll also tell the woman who cuts my hair, when I get it done again next week, because she watches the show. And she already knows I'm odd this way. :)

I love Halloween. It's always been one of my favorite holidays. And I figure since I've got to go to class and all, I might as well have fun today. Right? Right.

Speaking of, I'd better go see if I really do know where my boots are, or if I just think that I do...

Well. That was, to say the least, interesting.

Probably the most overused fic title last summer, but I wrote mine, or most of it, the day after the season finale. And proceeded to lose it amidst my old school papers from last semester, history notes and math homework.

I found it again yesterday, and finished it.

Took me hours to find the part of this I wrote last semester, and I was paniced that I'd lost it for a while... Anyway, I think some parts of it that I wrote yesteday may have been colored by having seen the seaosn premier, but oh well.

Will post on the sites as soon as I've gotten a summary written. Oh yes, and I get home from *sigh* class.

I don't want to think or talk about school, or my life, so I'm going to do a bit of slightly out of date Alias commentary.
