Oh, HP fandom, I've been totally ignoring you forever, and you're still carrying on just the same. Isn't it lovely to know that some things never change?

/sarcasm

Normally I probably wouldn't even mention this, but I just got up from a nap, I'm in a weird mood, saw this, and thought, "WTF?"

I was going to try and explain the whole thing, but I'll just link to the fandom_wank post, it's easier: http://www.journalfen.net/community/fandom_wank/1227910.htm

And then we have the OP's follow-upish thingy here. It's a lot shorter than the original posts, and I think it illustrates well the reasons I want to tear my hair out and hit my head on my desk repeatedly, because this woman is a MORON.

I'm not even gonna get into the whole Lily/Snape vs Lily/James thing. Nope. What's really driving me nuts about this is that the OP seems to think not liking Lily = misogyny.

ARGH! That does not mean what you think it means, OP.

Unless, you know, she's really into this whole Lily = Eve thing she's got going, and since Lily is The Original Woman Who Represents All Women, disliking her means you hate all women.

Seriously, people? Seriously?

If I wasn't used to this kind of nonsense from HP fandom this would be pissing me off a whole lot more, but it's still the stupidest thing I've heard in a while.

And I felt you all needed to know that. :)
urbandruid: (Mythbusters Gasoline (beahogan))
I've been done with school for a week now, and have finally decompressed enough to start figuring out what I'm going to do over the summer. For the last week, mostly what I've been doing is reading crap books and watching season 1 of Battlestar Galactica. I've seen it, but it's been so long I figured I'd better just start over.

Thanks to the internet, I know more spoilers than I'd really have liked, but I'm trying to be philosophical about it. Like when I picked up on Babylon 5, I was so far behind the wave, and it was such a MAJOR show, it's hard to avoid hearing about the stuff "everybody" knows. I bought the catalogs for the two Propworx auctions of costumes and props from the show, knowing that's probably the closest I'll ever get to owning a real piece of the show (though there are these eBay auctions I'm watching...) Anyway I'm flipping through the catalogs with one eye closed (actually I do pretty much everything with one eye closed, or at least not really seeing); trying to appreciate the cool stuff.

Like so: "Ooh, Starbuck's dog tags. Those'd be awesome to own- Oh frak, WHOSE funeral clothes? Dammit!" Mostly I've stopped reading the descriptions.

I'd forgotten how much I love this show. I just fell too far behind when it was airing to even think about trying to watch.

So I know there's an LJ comm for Babylon 5 'virgins', anyone know anything about one for BSG? Also an icon comm where spoilers are usually pretty well marked?

I have half a thought of trying to write one of the characters in a prompt comm, [livejournal.com profile] licenseartistic by preference, but it'd be weird with so much canon that I don't know yet. I always feel like this when I'm catching up on a series- like I can't write fic until I have the whole picture. Ongoing shows that I'm up to date with, no problem.

I'm an odd person. I know this.

...On the other hand, catching up would give me a ongoing source of new material, so it'd be like I was watching the show when it was current. Hmm. Hmm. This bears thinking about, although I should probably get off my lazy ass and catch up poor Moody first. And then there's Jack and Irina still clamoring for attention in the back of my head (mostly Irina) and gods know who else will pop up out of the woodwork given half a chance.

Truth is, I haven't really written much of anything this past semester at all, unless you count drips and drabs bitching about classes and medical stuff here and in my notebooks, or the haphazard way I've been tossing together bits of Honor Harrington fic for my [livejournal.com profile] au100 claims.

I'm trying to remember if I even know how. :) And it's not helping that it's starting to get hot. Well, starting- yeah, it's been hot for a while, and I know I shouldn't bitch, because it's not even over 100 yet, but damn. For some reason the heat seems to be really dragging at me this summer. Or maybe that's the anemia, depression, stress, and sleep deprivation. Plus heat.

Speaking of which, it's too damn hot in here to keep this up. More later, maybe.

Meme snagged from [livejournal.com profile] ladyorla, though I've seen it around before. I may even have done it before, not sure.

Name a fandom you know I know and I'll tell you...

01. The first character I first fell in love with
02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now
03. The character everyone else loves that I don't
04. The character I love that everyone else hates
05. The character I used to love but don't any longer
06. The character I would shag anytime
07. The character I'd want to be like
08. The character I'd slap
09. A pairing that I love
10. A pairing that I despise

From [livejournal.com profile] fannish5:
What five nitpicky things do you wish writers in your fandom(s) would get right?

I have to say, I don't actually do a lot of reading in my fandoms these days, outside of certain archives, groups, etc. I probably should read more than I do. So... here's some stuff I came up with off the top of my head, that I vaguely remember from, say, the last time I trolled Fanficton.net. (Which has been, you know, a while.)

#1- Alias: Okay, I know the finale did some wonky stuff (some of us, me included, would say it went somewhat beyond wonky, into the realm of "J.J., put down the bong, and never drop acid again, ever.) but please please try to remember all the canon that came before it. Irina, for example. Not always evil, not always simply out for global domination.
(A special no love to J.J. Abrams on that one, for making Irina a Bond villain. Of course, what do I care? My Irina has been AU, one way or another, since the end of season 2.)

#2- Harry Potter. Slytherins are people too. No, really, stick with me on this one. Not all Slytherins are cardboard-cutout evil (are we sensing a theme here, btw?) ...and at the same time, not all of them can be redeemed, or should be. One thing Severus Snape does not need in any way, shape, or form, is your vapid, Mary Sue self-insert OC and her vapid, Mary Sue-ish purple prose. And his hair really is greasy. Please just deal with that.

#3- All fandoms. Okay, this is really nitpicky. I write a lot of AU. Some of it's a little AU, some of it is a lot AU. It's all got one thing in common: I change stuff. This really isn't that hard to understand. But people will insist on believing in the main AU (for example, I had someone review "Never To Be Alone In The Dark", which is an unfinished chapterd Babylon 5 story where Marcus survives. (I'd link it, but it's M/I, and most of my friends are sick to death of that one, and I don't want tomatoes thrown at me.) The reviewer was okay with that part, but told me I'd made it look like Marcus and his brother hand gone through Ranger training together, which they didn't do. Except that in "Never," they did. This isn't in any way really important to the plot, it's just something that comes up in a conversation Ivanova has with a Ranger who had a crush on William, Marcus's brother. And yet every time I go through my folder of saved reviews- and this one was overall nice, and I did save it- that comment drives me fucking crazy.

I guess it bugs me because it's not the only time that's happened. I had people- numerous people- accept the total freaking AUness of "Emerald & Ebony," in which Harry kills Voldemort in 5th year. (Happens 'offscreen', as it were, but still.) And what do they gripe about? I had Snape and Minerva the same age, and this apparently is a serious goof on my part. Except, you know, for the part where I meant to do it that way.

One of these people also told me how old Hagrid was. Hagrid played no major part in the story at all- I think I had him there for about two seconds, talking to the Trio. His age had no relevance. (And, not being a Hagrid fan, I really didn't care.)

It's fanfic, kids. It's all pretty much AU anyway.

#4 - Alias. History, people. If you're going to do something like write about Jack and Sloane running around doing CIA stuff back in the day, or Irina doing KGB stuff, please please try to get at least a faint grasp on what was going on in the area of the world you put them in, at the time you put them there. I know it's complicatd- I have a huge book on the KGB that I still haven't made it all the way through- but I know we can remember the big stuff, like when the Soviet Union collapsed. There should be an obvious difference between AU ("What if the Soviet Union never collapsed, and Irina was running the KGB?" and historical inaccuracies ("It's, say, 1999, and we're still talking about things like the Iron Curtain, West Germany, and Krushchev, not in an alternate history kind of way, but in an "oops, I got a D- in history, sort of way.")

#5 - Star Wars. This, too, is quite bitchy on my part, but, look. I've read the majority of the books, particularly the Zahn novels, about a billion times, with particular attention to the characters I like best. Please spare me the "I think 'x' was standing over there, not there when y event happened." Dude. I re-read that chapter, just to make sure I got it right for the fic. I do know what I'm doing.

Aurors100

urbandruid: (Default)
Back in August I took over [livejournal.com profile] aurors100, mostly because I'm crazy. Now I'm kind of toying with the idea of what to do with it. I could, probably should, continue it as a drabble comm, but I also had the probably insane idea to redo it as some kind of HP-based 100 fics challenge.

Don't ask me where I get this stuff from, because I really don't know. I suppose I ought to come up with some kind of challenge for this month, since it went on a monthly, not weekly, basis.

For, you know, the like twelve people who are still members, not counting the deleted journal I just got rid of, because deleted journals as members of things really bug me.

So, is there an etiquette when you take over a comm from someone, that they say is all yours? Do you get to change whatever you want? Layout, default icon, and stuff? Should I remove the other person as a mod, since they said they wanted to get rid of the comm? I have no idea how this works.

I'd like to thank [livejournal.com profile] irreparable, who's almost always up to looking something over for me, and she and [livejournal.com profile] leviathanmuse for helping with RP posts and the like. Also [livejournal.com profile] strangemuses who beta read the Moody essay I wrote a while back, and [livejournal.com profile] bohemienne, who did beta duty on 'Emerald and Ebony', poor thing. Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] dangnylilytable who has beta-read any number of Alias fics. (And one day I'm actually going to finish that sequel to 'Ice and Glass' for you, MC...)

There may be others I've forgotten- feel free to jog my memory. You guys all rock. :)

edit: [livejournal.com profile] g_shadowslayer also beta'd several RP posts and the like. Thanks to you, too.

OTP meme

Aug. 7th, 2006 11:29 am
urbandruid: (Penny/Moody)
I was tagged by [livejournal.com profile] irreparable, and, again, I can avoid the to-do list for a while. Whee!

I think we've modified the original meme a bit- you were only supposed to list one pairing. Hah. Right. Like that would happen.

Harry Potter: Penny/Moody. The absolute OTP. I can- very occasionally- write Moody with other people, but the Penny in my head is pretty much always Moody's girl. Snape/McGonagall. Was my OTP before I got into Moody/Penny. Neville/Susan, because it's just CUTE, damnit! A bit of Sirius/Remus, though I've never really written it- just can't get too much of a grip on the pairing to write it... Voldemort/Bellatrix. Blaise/Tom, though I'll never be able to write it. Draco/Pansy. Lucius/Pansy. Lucius/Snape. Lucius/Narcissa. Lucius/Bellatrix.

Alias: Jack/Irina all the way. Jack/Sloane, Sydney/not!Vaughn. I really, really hate Vaughn. Weiss/Nadia. Marshall/Carrie.

Babylon 5/Crusade: Bester/Carolyn, Marcus/Ivanova, Galen/Gideon, Galen/Anna. Sinclair/Catherine. Zack/Lyta. Gideon/Lochley. Max/Cynthia.

Buffy: Buffy/Spike, Giles/Joyce, Giles/Jenny, Willow/Tara, Spike/Dawn

Dragonlance: Raistlin/Crysania, every once in a while. Par-Salian/Ladonna, just 'cause. Oh, and Dalamar/Kitiara, because hot ruthless people should always shag, it's pretty :)

Gundam Wing: Treize/Lady Une, Treize/Zechs, Mariemaya/Delane (TTDSDG OC), Walker/Alice (OC), Dorothy/Catherine, Trowa/Quatre

Lord of the Rings: Aragorn/Arwen, Faramir/Eowyn, Aragorn/Eowyn. Uh... Saruman/Sauron? ;) Gandalf/Saruman, just because.

Firefly: Mal/Inara, Mal/River, Simon/Kaylee, Kaylee/Inara, Kaylee/River

Star Trek (all): McCoy/Dwen Llewellyn (obscure book character), Worf/Jadiza, Picard/Crusher, Janeway/Chakotay (in an OMG ew, I wrote this in high school, it sucked, and I'll never do it again, sort of way). Janeway/Owen Paris (mostly in a Mirror Universe AU kind of way- I do love that mirror universe)

Honor Harrington: Honor/Hamish, Hamish/Emily, Honor/Hamish/Emily, Rob Pierre/Oscar Saint Just.

Green Rider: Karigan/Zachary all the way. Make Alton marry that other girl. ;)

Star Wars: Obi-Wan/Padme, Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon/Shmi, Jag/Jaina, Han/Leia, Luke/Mara, Wedge/Iella, Fel/Syal, Karrde/Shada, Karrde/Mara

X-Men (movieverse, as it's all I know): Magneto/Rogue is my main OTP here these days. Yes, shut up already. Also Magneto/Mystique, Logan/Rogue, Nightcrawler/Storm, and Magneto/Dark Phoenix. Oh, and Kitty/Collosus, 'cause the old TM Kitty got it stuck in my head that that's the way it's supposed to be. Oh, and Bobby is boring. (Though at least as long as he's around, the gang doesn't need an ice machine...)

Witchblade the TV series: Sara/Nottingham. Nottingham/Irons in a half-squicky, half attractive pairing sort of way.

seaQuest DSV: Bridger/Westphalen all the way. Also Stark/Maxwell, Bridger/Stark, Kreig/Hitchcock, Krieg/Hamburger ;), and Ortiez/O'Neil (or, you know, Orteiz/anyone, just so I can look at him... mmpretty)

Crossover randomness: Giles/Scully, Stark/Ramuis (Hunt for Red October), Dark Willow/Magneto, Vampire Willow/Magneto (and I'm just inventing this stuff off the top of my head, but some of it's working scarily well...) Faith (BTVS)/Kitiara (Dragonlance) Number Six (BSG)/Isabelle (the 4400)

Misc TV shows: Tyr/Beka (Andromeda), Charlie/Zoe (West Wing), Leo/Jordan (West Wing), Tom/Diana (the 4400), Tess/the crazy doctor whose name has escaped my mind (the 4400), Alanna/Heather (the 4400), Bones/Boothe (Bones), Zach/Hodgins (Bones), House/Cameron (House), House/Wilson (House), Nine/Rose (Dr Who), Jack/Sam (SG1; unspoken angstridden waaaaay against regs, military love... I'm sorry, [livejournal.com profile] leviathanmuse) Jack/that alternate universe non-military!Carter (SG1), Dr. Frasier/General Hammond (SG1).

I'm sure I've forgotten some, but that's all I can come up with off the top of my head. And I'm supposed to tag six people, sooo.... [livejournal.com profile] pandoraculpa, [livejournal.com profile] evil_whimsey, [livejournal.com profile] ashkitty, [livejournal.com profile] chaos_pockets, [livejournal.com profile] hobsonphile, and [livejournal.com profile] unanon. And anyone else who wants to do it...
urbandruid: (Jaina / Pen Is Mightier)
Okay, I wasn't going to do this. No, really, I wasn't. I have a week left until I start back to school, I have a ton and a half to do, and fandom wank doesn't make the list.

But we all know how much I like procrastinating, and this has really started to piss me off. So.

Cassie Claire. Yeah, you knew it had to be her, right? )
urbandruid: (Spork! (xinsanity))
This should be interesting. Or very silly.

And yes, [livejournal.com profile] leviathanmuse, I made sure I counted right this time. :)

The meme instructions, if you want to do it yourself.

15 characters )

The questions )

Okay, that was funny. The last one almost turned into a fic, and there are a few others that are funny enough I might do something with them later.

urbandruid: (Default)
From [livejournal.com profile] leviathanmuse and [livejournal.com profile] g_shadowslayer, because memes are more fun than being productive:

1.Post a list of up to 20 books/movies/anime/TV shows/video games/etc. that you've had an obsessive fannish love of at some time in your life.

2. Have your flist guess your favourite character from each item.

Apologies for some of the totally obscure fandoms; I had trouble getting to 20 with more well-known ones. Also, some of these, I have more than one favourite character. Either or both are fine as guesses, if you know. :)

1. Alias
2. Harry Potter
3. Babylon 5
6. Crusade
7. Buffy the Vampire Slayer
8. Star Wars
9. Star Trek: TNG
10. Stargate SG-1
11. Dragonlance
12. seaQuest DSV
13. Gundam Wing
12. Star Trek: DS9
14. The Dark Is Rising
15. Witchblade (the TV series)
16. X-men movieverse
17. Star Trek: Voyager
18. Andromeda
19. Wheel of Time
20. Honor Harrington

edit: And apparently, I can't count to 20 correctly. D'oh!
urbandruid: (Constant Vigilance (lovesoldier))
I can see I'm going to end up coughing up more money for LJ pretty soon. I was just bored enough with all my old icons, even though I had some good ones, to delete almost everything just so I could upload a new one.

Which I wanted specifically for this post, because it is GOF review time. :)

Constant Vigilance! )

And now to the non-spoilery part of the review, aka the Theater Rant.

People, this movie is PG-13. It is PG-13 for a reason, and trust me, it's not the bloody dragons. Shut up about the dragons, because while yeah, they might be scary, they are small potatoes. The PG-13 is all about the darkness, the last couple scenes, parts of which creeped me out, and the fact that this nice boy everyone thinks is so pretty gets murdered by the bad guy. Duh... So, with that understood, why in the HELL were there so many little children there? Little children who needed booster seats, and couldn't keep track of their own sodas, and who were, not surprisingly, crying by the end of the movie?

I hope their parents had Voldie-and-the-Death-Eaters-nightmares to deal with that night.

Also, a special "no love" shout-out to the people standing in line behind us to get into the theater. Talking as loudly as possible, thus shouting directly into my mother's ear? Not a really good idea. She totally almost killed you. I almost helped. It was not that loud in there. Shut UP.

Next bit of rantyness. Danial Radcliff fangirls. Shut up, shut up, and shut up. You're getting worse than the Orlando Bloom fans at Pirates of the Caribbean, and I didn't think that was possible. They sighed and whistled during the bathtub scene, and again when his name came onscreen for the credits. I cheered for Alan Rickman and Maggie Smith, just to freak them out. Also because those two rock. Someone stood up to leave and I barely saw Brenden Gleeson's name, or he would've gotten a cheer, too.

I fear no teenybopper fangirl that lives in this town. :)

And a final Theater Rant- No love to the people who built the place, even though it's the best theater in town, and we drove all the way over from our new place, even though others are closer, because it's such a good one. Because they built their stairs all funky, so that when I looked up to see how bad the crowd was outside in the hall, and went to keep walking down the steps, I put my foot where there was no step, and fell, and smacked my knee and both ankles. The knee and one ankle are alright. The other ankle is killing me.

It was still almost worth it. Damn good movie. :)
urbandruid: (trio)
Something my friend [livejournal.com profile] andromakhe said yesterday about inconsistencies in Harry Potter reminded me of something I've been meaning to do for a while now.

I swiped the idea from the Lurker's Guide to Babylon 5, in a way. They have a section on "unanswered questions" for each episode in the episode guide. So I started a list for HP. Stuff that she doesn't explain, or hasn't yet, that I wonder about, and stuff that just flat out doesn't make sense.

I have this oddly obsessive desire to make my list comprehensive, and I know I'm missing tons of stuff. I keep thinking of stuff and then forgetting it, and that's not getting me anywhere. So I'm posting the list here, and if anyone can think of anything else, leave a comment.

I was also thinking of doing a fic challenge of some kind where people try to "answer" a question or explain and apparent inconsistency. I don't know if there's any interest in that, so I thought I'd start with the list and see how it goes.

I sorted the list by book, and for random stuff I wonder about for various characters (like Sirius's job) I just filed it under the book where said character first showed up (PoA for Sirius). General series stuff (like the moving portraits question) gets filed under Sorcerer's Stone.

Stuff with strikethrough is stuff I think has been answered. Please feel free to argue with me if you'd like.

urbandruid's less than comprehensive list of stuff; OotP spoilers, not that anyone cares )

I thought of a bunch of other ones, mostly for GoF and OotP, and like an idiot I didn't write them down. I keep flipping through random notebooks, hoping to find them, but I think it's hopeless.

Help?
urbandruid: (bester mask)
Okay. More boredom. Yeah, still. So I'm going to plug my fanlistings some more. All of 'em. I think there are a couple I haven't pestered my friends list about, but I can't remember which ones they are, and I'm too lazy to check.

So...

Alphabetically, except for this first one, which is really bugging me a lot.

Sword From the Stone: the Babylon 5: Crusade fanlisting
Six fans. Not bad, but it's Crusade. People wrote tons of letters about this show, and there's all this fanfic out there... *pokes fandom*

Arrogance: the Tyr Anasazi fanlisting
Brand new, only has two members. C'mon, guys- two members? I was expecting this to become my biggest listing.

Be Seeing You: the Alfred Bester fanlisting
Bester? From Babylon 5? Three members. Also looking for fanfic submissions.

Beyond Babylon: the J. Michael Straczynski fanlisting
One member- me. [livejournal.com profile] starkiller? [livejournal.com profile] jenavira? Anyone?

Command Decision: the Marilyn Stark fanlisting
My totally obscure character obsession from a fairly obscure fandom. I have long maintained that I am the only serious Stark fan in existance, and so far I've been right. Would be nice if I wasn't the only one, though...

Shadow Dancer: the Anna Sheridan fanlisting
Four members. Respectable, I guess, considering that it's Anna, and she's kind of obscure. Also looking for fanfic.
urbandruid: (Default)
It's over, and I am too drained to really celebrate. I'm too tired, in fact, to do much of anything at all.

I put together lists in my head of things I'm not doing and should be, and suddenly I find myself making link graphics for my Obscure Character Obsession (aka the Marilyn Stark fanlisting). Which I don't know if another soul in all the world will even join, once it's up and running. But what the hell, right? I'm on vacation.

I'm almost tempted to spend half of tomorrow getting more screencaps; never mind the hundred and fifty or so I have now. I'm still weeding the crap out of those.

I guess I'm a little bit crazy. I'd say it's due to being on vacation, but I think I was like this before, too. :)
urbandruid: (Default)
I looked over my history paper yesterday and discovered I got a C+, not a C-. So I'm feeling a lot better about that. Most of his complaints are petty, typical anal history teacher crap. I can fix them. Don't really want to, but...yeah.

[livejournal.com profile] fablespinner says that getting into this local anime thing is really cheap, or so she's heard, $5. Now that I know I can afford it I'm definitly going. I need something to look forward to besides Monday's math test, Friday's history test... oh shit, I knew there was something I forgot to study for.

It really needs to be Friday now.

Well. Friday night, how about that?

Really tired today. And of all the stuff I have to get done for Urbandruid, it's suddenly slow going. Stopping to recode some stuff in my Gundam fics, and give the Ghost Knight chapters titles... that and the fact I hated every graphic I made for most of the week... I liked it better when I was on that roll, the only things interrupting me being school, sleep, food.

I really did not want to get out of bed this morning.

Ah well. It could be worse, right? Right.
urbandruid: (Default)
Boy, do I ever need a life! It's good, though.

Went surfing around this morning looking for inspiration for redesigning my Gundam Wing site, which really really needs it, and one thing led to another; to make a long story short I found my old GW fandom buddy [livejournal.com profile] fablespinner, and she's living in the same part of the state as me. Not right next door or anything, but close enough... I'll probably see her Friday, there's this anime thing... Anyway.

Didn't get much work done on the site this morning, though I did sketch it out in my head in between classes. Funny, though, I pictured it being grey and red, and it's become grey and blue. But hey, at least it's not purple.

I hate Mondays, but this one hasn't been too bad.

Well, except for the C- I got on my history paper (the font's too big, and he wants more information... yes, and shall I walk on water while I'm at it?) But right now I don't much care. I have a friend in the area (and she's not a crazy gamer).

No, she's a crazy anime fan, but that's a whole different thing. :)
urbandruid: (marcus)
I think I need some icons that aren't Alias, or Harry Potter, or the one Babylon 5 icon I bothered to upload...have had this crazy idea lately for a LOTR screencap of Gandalf with "urbandruid" written on it, and maybe a little slogan. If I can come up with a little slogan. Of course, this would also require LOTR screencaps, of which I have none. Could fix that, I suppose, in my (ha, ha, funny joke) spare time. Right.

I hate Thursdays. I don't want to go to French, don't want to find out what my test score was, and don't want to go to the language lab.

Sometimes I feel like screaming, you know? Like this is bullshit and I have real work to do- I can't stick around and listen to the idiots in my French class speaking everything but French when Madame steps out, I've got to run home and finish Alias fic. Or break down and work on the seaQuest fansite that's been clamoring to be made for ages now...

And half of you are thinking, "what the hell is seaQuest?" while the rest are laughing at me. But I always did like that show quite a bit- but just the first season. After that it got really weird. And stupid and sexist and... Somewhere on the old computer I may still have the letter I sent to Steven Spielberg after the start of second season, bitching about sexism and other idiocy. It was a good letter for someone who was maybe all of thirteen at the time. I doubt he ever read it, but it made me feel better to have sent it.

Typical of me, I suppose- I obsess about things that people don't remember. I loved the first season cast of characters, but I've forever had this strange connection with seaQuest's first captain, Marilyn Stark. Yes, the crazy one. Although if I had more time I could tell you my theories on why she's not really crazy, or why she is but it's okay...

Yeah. This is what's been going on in my head lately.

I'm making seaQuest icons when I get home. I know I am. Stark icons with sarcastic commentary. And you'll all have to put up with them for a while. Maybe a long while.

Wait till you hear how I got the screencaps. Talk about nostalgia...

I mean, I can't have been the only one who tried taking pictures of the TV screen when I was a kid, right?

Did you know, with a digital camera, if you time it right, it actually works? Really, it does. And finding that out was fun.

I am such a geek. :)
