Isn't it amazing, the difference a good teacher can make? I had the opposite in physics in high school (yep, lucky me, I was a year ahead in math & science, and had to take physics in 11th grade because there were no other sciences I hadn't already done...) -- the teacher was such an ass and when we didn't understand something he'd just tell us to read the book. Feh! I read the book, and that's what I didn't understand, so explain it to me, you idiot. Do your job and teach! Bleh. Was SO much happier the next year in AP Bio.
