Oh, joy, it's summer flu season

Good news: Power came back a few hours after it went out.

Bad news: I went to bed early last night with what I thought was a minor "it'll be gone when I wake up" sort of thing. Which turns out, instead, to be what I'm pretty sure is the flu.

Mom brought it home from work last week and forgot to mention it. *sigh* She says it's only a 48 hour thing, so I guess we'll see. I sure hope that's all it is, as I am quite miserable.

edit: isn't that barfing penguin the cutest thing ever? *lol* *facepalms*

*sigh* Yep, that'd be the one. You think you figure out something you can eat, then you take one bite of it, and it's obvious you made a really bad choice.

I'm a little better today, but I'm trying not to push myself, since it'll just get worse again if I do.
