It just figures, doesn't it?

So it turns out that the reason I was baking to death yesterday had less to do with the temp of 101 outside, and more to do with the fact that the air conditioner is intermittently dying. As in not working at all. It did it again last night, I guess I was just too busy being passed out to notice.
High summer, the week they're tar and feathering the parking lot (only, you know, without the feathers)- I ask you, who else would this happen to?
The AC seems to be working just now, but it's early morning, which means it doesn't matter so much. I'm sure I can tell you when it will be not working. *sigh*
Anyway, I probably won't be good for much until this gets taken care of. I kind of figure I'll spend most of today in front of the living room fan, watching Buffy with a box of tissues, waiting for the repair person I really hope the manager can get out here soonish.
Please gods don't let this take all week. Or longer. I may go crazy.
