I should be sleeping right now- I'm tired, I'm just not that tired. And the need for sleep, and my own exhaustion, has not stopped me yet from doing silly, crazy things like staying up half the night writing, making icons, and various other time-wasting things.
I am the queen of procrastination.
I feel guilty about my algebra homework, but hell, I'll do it tomorrow. I'm certainly not about to attempt it now.
So I stay up later than I ought to. I do silly, strange things, like typing song lyrics. I try to type them with the songs playing them in my ears, as quick as the lines are sung, and I try to do it without the liner notes. It started as an exercize a few years ago, something to do to keep my typing speed up. Not that I'm suffering in that area or anything; I remember last semester, taking that computer class, and people just stared when I typed. Like I was Motzart in Intro to Piano or something. Kind of embarrasing, really. But I like typing my lyrics. It's something to do, when I'm bored, and it's oddly calming.
I always meant to do something with the lyrics, put together my own odd little site, but I never saw the point. I don't type up every song from every CD I own, just the ones I like. I did finally get the lyrics coded for the songs in my Harry Potter soundtrack, though. (Amazing how tedious that was. Sometimes I hate HTML.)
