RPGs and other randomness

urbandruidIt's always something around here... always. Today it was the garbage trucks emptying the Dumpster. Yeah. I'm all for taking the trash out, really, but must they come so early, and make so much noise? And then immediatly head down the alley to rattle around in their trash bins? Argh.
So I've been awake longer than I would have liked today- and so what else is new?
Didn't post anything yesterday- shocking, isn't it?- but I did keep marking stuff off the list of website junk I need to do, so...that's something, right? Right.
Random stuff I forgot to mention- Our power went out for a couple hours on Sunday, which was interesting but not much fun. My shower is fixed again, which is a really good thing.
Oh, and excepting the time we picked up a nail in the tire, the car has been running great ever since my uncle tore half the stuff under the hood apart.
I think my portable CD player is dying. It keeps crapping out randomly, and the digital display says "Sorry". Yeah, that's helpful.

the_second_war. Plus I'm considering taking on a second character in ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
twisted_hp. I think all of the Slytherin Twisted players are really feeling the lack of Snape, and if my Tabitha wasn't so fixated on him, I'd probably have applied to play him by now. But I've had a little too much experience trying to play more than one character like that- if there's too much interaction between them you can end up really really stuck. Which is why I'm thinking an alumni, or some other random adult.
But then I debate about it all some more, because I don't want to end up playing the same characters in different RPs. Too confusing.
the_second_war is post OotP, so I'm thinking of maybe playing one of the new characters from the book. Second War is wide open, except for, oddly, Seamus Finnigan, and whoever ashkitty is playing, though she's not saying who that is...I have my suspicions, but I'm probably way off.
Suppose I'd better get a move on before all the good characters are taken, huh? Maybe I'll just pull a name out of a hat...
