Have checked mail twice already today, just for something to do. Nothing there yet.

Construction workers across the alley and the gardeners here in the apartment complex woke me up this morning. I want very badly to hex somebody. A nice Crucio or Avada Kedavra to go with my Death Eater costume. That's setting aside the obviously necessary Imperio: Never do that again before at least 10:30.

I am now dreaming about Order of the Phoenix, having it in my hands, slipping it into my Hogwarts bookbag (which loads of people admire when I take it to the library, by the way- little kids lusting after my boookbag, teenagers exclaiming over it...)

I worry about Barns & Noble selling out of books before I get there, even though I plan to be there early, as in a bit before they open. Even though there's one reserved for me. Even though... Silly worries. I'll curse them if they sell every last copy before I can get mine.

It's a stupid worry, I know, but I've never been to one of these things before. The closest I came was almost going to Midnight Madness at Toys'r'us when the new toys for Star Wars Episode II came out. I didn't go, sounded like too much trouble.

Mentally shuffling my DVD collection, debating what to screencap...and in keeping with my HP obsession, I think it's almost going to have to be Chamber of Secrets.

I got my call from Borders today about picking up my reserved copy. :D Yaay! Now I just have to keep myself from reading it until I get on the plane...

Yay! Yeah, Barns and Noble told me they'd call when it was in. I just looked at the guy like "Dude, I know when it's coming". Silly people.

So you're going to Russia soonish, then? Otherwise there'd be no hope of keeping from reading the book till you were on the plane.

The 25th. I'm hoping I can hold out...

The 25th? Wow... I don't know if I could hold out that long. I'm probably going to start reading the book on the drive home, if no sooner.
