twisted_hp. I always end up having to edit them. One of these years I'll remember them.
Have not gotten my packages yet, as they were still on the mail truck drifting around town when Mom stopped by the post office after work. And we lost one of the notices- had them one minute, set them down, and suddenly could only find one. I have no idea where the other one got off to, but it's the strangest thing, because it is gone.
I've always had this theory that Mom's purse eats things, though, and nothing's gone missing for a while. Perhaps it was just hungry.
There was a very small bit on the late news about Order of the Phoenix. Barns and Noble is shipping around a million copies to its various stores. The books all have their own special shipping boxes, white with the book title in pretty blue Harry Potter font. And little blue stars and stuff. I have a crazy desire for one of those boxes, though I don't know what I'd do with it if I had one.
Mom's had a bad day, what with accidentally blowing up soda cans in the freezer (forgot to take them out last night), having one explode in her hand and drench half the kitchen, forgetting her ATM card at home, having to drive my uncle's gas guzzler of a Ford around town... Upshot being that I really wanted to ask her to help me finish my black cloak in time for Friday, but I didn't. I asked for her help over the weekend, but I didn't really want to bring it up tonight- didn't seem the best time.
I would really like to get it done, though. It's not a Slytherin student uniform or anything, but with a finished black cloak, I can do a pretty cool Death Eater. It's more original anyway, and if we get it done, I am so wearing it. Because, you know, the Harry Potter release party almost requires people in cloaks.
I won't be too broken up about it if it doesn't happen, but I figured it was worth a try.
