Aug. 28th, 2006 06:39 amOnce again, school seems to be kicking my ass. I have mountains of homework, and I do mean mountains. I hate math. I can't seem to get enough sleep on school nights, which is unfortunate. I think I'm still trying to settle into this whole schedule. *sigh* So a lot of the stuff I wanted to get done this weekend, posts and tags and things like my AL challenges, kinda didn't get done. Sorry.
I might have been able to do some stuff Thursday, but I thought I had an honor society meeting. So I left the house, saw the bus going down the street waaay too far away to even try and catch, waited half an hour at the bus stop... waited some more when a guy came on the bus to try and fix the back door, which apparently was broken... got to campus only about fifteen minutes late for my meeting... and discovered, no meeting. We must've spent at least an hour the weekend before school started, trying to hammer out a time when everyone who had to be at the meetings, could be there. Apparently we screwed up, and we had to reschedule the meetings for Friday. At 2. My class lets out at 8, and it's not worth the trouble to go home for a couple hours... so Friday's going to be a long day for me. Whee.
And of course, since I'm an officer now, I have to be there. I'd go anyway- our meetings are fun, and otherwise I have no clue what's going on. I ran for historian at the end of last semester, and won. Which basically means I have to go to all our events, if we ever get around to having any, and bring a camera. Fun, but a lot of work.
So... yeah. It's been kind of crazy. I'm hoping soon it'll chill out a bit. Maybe next week, when we get a day off for Labor Day- yeah, a whole day, and it's scary how excited I am about it.
I've got to dash, time to collect my esoteric math crap, find my shoes, and so on. See you guys!
