Mar. 12th, 2004 06:36 am*yawn* Gods I'm tired.
I don't want to go to school today, but I'd bet you knew that already, huh? Let's see...
I got my Algebra test back- got a C. Not bad, since I was sure I'd bombed it on the first try, the one I thought was for real- still a bit peeved about that, but oh well. Life goes on.
Haven't gotten my Soc paper back yet, but I'm not really worried about it. I stress less about writing assignments than math. :)
The march is Monday. I can't wait. I went to the AGS (honor society) meeting on the 8th, and I know three or four people who are going, one of whom I'm sure will have no problem hanging out with me at all. Another is male and not bad looking... He seemed nice at the car wash, too. (Okay. Don't get your hopes up, Chris. He's probably either a.) gay, b.) with somebody, or c.) a total asshole.)
Oh, speaking of the car wash- we raised almost $200. I'm all jazzed.
I talked to my Algebra teacher on Wednesday about my missing class for the march. I was really nervous, because I figured she wasn't the type who'd go for it, but she thinks it's great that I'm going, said she'd tell me what sections we're covering in class that day, and to be sure and stop by her office if I have questions.
I think I've just about forgiven her for that whole test thing.
I'm beginning to wonder if summer isn't here to stay, already. Which would suck big time, as it's only March. Even worse is that I still don't have a fan; I carry the big one from the living room into my room at night so I can sleep, but it's really too big for my room. Darth Vader is still rattling on the wall, and I think he woke me up every hour on the hour last night. (oh, and once at 2:30) *gives Darth the finger* Bastard.
Anyway, I'm heading out tonight to try and find myself a fan, but I'm thinking that with this sudden heat/humidity thing, the chances are Not Good.
Why couldn't it just have stayed cold a month or two longer? Why?
I finished Survivor's Quest, my new Star Wars book, last night, and I really need to remember to write about what I thought of it. The ending was kind of, "Whoa... Damn you, Zahn!" But like in a good way.
Alright. Off to school for me.
