(no subject)

My book came last night! Very cool. I'll spam you all with pictures later, because it rocks, and it's got my name on it, and... yes. All kinds of cool.

I'm getting ready to go out to the carwash. I figure I'll go work a couple hours, come home, take a shower, and hit the books. I'm not looking forward to the hitting the books part, but... *sigh* What can you do?

I'm counting the days till March in March. Talked to my grandmother on the phone last night. Grandma's very involved with the League of Women Voters and stuff like that, and the League is kind of supporting the march. Anyway, she sent me a form letter she got from the League about the march. We had 10,000 people last year. 10,000! Students from all over the state, marching on the state capitol... And it's funny, because I was sure my education-minded grandparents would be pissed I was cutting class to go.

I always forget how political they are. (I also forgot they let Mom cut class in middle school to go to a Vietnam war protest march...) Grandma thinks it's wonderful. She's probably telling her League pals about me right now.

Sometimes my family just rocks.
