School, test day, & more Russian stuff
Feb. 20th, 2003 06:48 amTrying not to hack up my lungs onto keyboard and screen, and wishing more than anything it were Friday. Math test in two hours, the big test for the end of the six week section on equations. Did really well on yesterday's practice test, but it's me and I'm terrified. I can do it, I know I can do it, I just... I'm scared. And damned tired of failing at this...
School hasn't been what I expected lately; D- on my first French II test, C- on my history essay test. Of course I get the question where the book has shit for information, and...argh. Must go see history prof after I get out of math. Yay.
And in re-reading my sylibus for history, I discovered that he wants the paper on a "significant" person from modern history, which means I'm not going to be able to do Oleg Gordievsky after all. Damnit. So we're going with *sigh* Gorbachav. Yeah. Shoot me now.
In other news, I love the KGB book I borrowed from the library. (KGB: The Inside Story). Linds, have you read this?
