The KGB: Uncle Ivan wants YOU!
Feb. 18th, 2003 06:50 amI've gone from enjoying the idea of a four day week to wishing it were a hell of a lot shorter, all in the space of- I don't know, a day? A few hours? I woke up around 5:00 this morning, coughing, and had a really hard time getting back to sleep. Not because I wasn't tired, but because it's hard to sleep when you're seven kinds of miserable.
I want to stay home, take my allergy pills, and hash out something in the way of a design for Urbandruid. Instead what do I get to do? Go to school, hang out for an hour, go to math, hang out for an hour, go to French, hang in French for an hour and forty minutes, chill for twenty, go to Bio lab, go to the library and hang till Mom gets off work. The only fun part of that's going to be the Bio lab. And maybe the library.
Have decided on a rough topic for my history paper- someone from the old KGB. Would be easier if the damn paper didn't have to be on a person, but there is this huge book on the history of the KGB at the city college library, which I plan to snatch up today. Should be someone in there I can write about, right? So I keep telling myself.
Weirdness, though- this is for my American history class. Asked the prof if he wanted it to be on an American person, he made the mistake of saying no. So...
Alright, maybe I'm not as miserable as I thoguht I was.
