Random notes from essay writing

urbandruidNot sure if I'm going to work this into the essay in some way or not, but it just hit me as I was finishing up tape-flagging OotP.
JRK seems to have forgotten Moody's existance in one scene. On Christmas day, when everyone goes to see Arthur Weasley in the hospital, she mentions Moody went with them, but he's never seen again.
I realized this when Molly starts yelling at Arthur for letting the trainee healer try to stitch his wound, when everyone else takes off. She mentions Harry, Ron, and Hermione, Bill, Lupin, and the twins as all (very wisely) getting out of shouting range. But I flipped back through and there is no mention of poor Moody since the one line where JRK says he went with them to St. Mungo's.
Uh...oops?
Anyway, I'm off to drop off my absentee ballot. If I'm gone for hours and hours, assume the line was very long. :)
