I love winter. But I still want to curl up under my nice warm blankets and go back to sleep.

Bah, Thursdays.

They say there's a "chance of showers" today. I laughed. In Fresno-speak, this means it'll be clear as a bell, or there will be a downpour. Yeah. And since I have to go out and go to class? Downpour.

I think my raincoat and umbrella have pretty much dried out from Tuesday's downpour. Guess I'll find out.

I'm going to try to get some writing done once I get to school, before class. I have three hours to kill, but somehow I rarely end up writing more than a page or two in the notebook. What is it about writing in public that makes me so nervous I can't do it? It's not as if anyone else in the library cares that I'm writing Harry Potter smut, or even Harry Potter fic in general... Hell, I wrote half of last year's NaNovel at school. (...and was really nervous about that, too. Right.)

I should toss a snippet of something up at aurordark when I get home. Not something from the main thing I'm working on now- that has decided it doesn't want to see light till it's done- but something from one of the other WIPs. Of which there are, as always, far too many. I should also update the unfinished fics meme, but I am afeared.

And again with the not wanting to go to class thing...

Yes, do please toss some snippets. My brain has rather latched onto the notion of Penelope/Moody, and apparently doesn't like to go too long without seeing some of it.

Plus, the Old Man is telling me the 500 or so words I scribbled up the other night are completely off base and not at all suitable. It would be most gratifying, to see someone else taking him firmly (ahem) in hand, so I can ignore his persnickety ways, and still get my Moodyfix.

Argh, I hate it when he does that. He keeps letting me write stuff, and then insisting it can't be posted till it's finished. Damn him... We still love him, though, of course.
