I really do feel lots better this morning, which is good. I still didn't want to get out of bed when the alarm went off, but when do I ever, even when I'm not sick?

I even managed to sleep through most of the night. I woke up once at 3:00AM, went "You've gotta be kidding me", rolled over, and went back to sleep. I only wish I could have done it again, when the alarm went off.

Oh well. All I have to do is go to school, kill three hours reading Harry Potter (Goblet of Fire, yay! scary!insane!fake!Moody!) and doing my Myths homework and scribbling away into my notebook... go to class (1 hr, 15 minutes, and who decided about the 15 minutes? because it's just odd...) and then I get to come home.

And pass out. Or possibly eat something, then pass out.

Did I mention the part where I'm really not keen on this? Right. Time to go grab something to eat, I think.

Aww. Well that doesn't sound too terrible; at least you get to read HP and do some writing too. And Myths!! I never got to take cool courses like that... *pouts* Of course, I was also an art major, which cut down on cool classes that weren't related to painting or printmaking, so maybe you'll tell me some cool Myths some time?

(I'm a mythology junkie, if you haven't guessed from my writing yet. I love to slip those references in there, any chance I get that's appropriate; the Orpheus/Eurydice stuff in the Snape/Ginny drabbles was such a blast!)

Get better! And if it helps, I'm at almost 2000 words, Moody is almost in the same room as the bathtub, and I've got half of the scene where Tonks gets him into the tub written out in the notebook! (no idea the word count there) If it keeps up at this pace, I might actually have something (though likely only the build-up to smut) to post this evening. But we'll see- I'm hoping that the Muse will grab me by my hair and show me a short-cut to Teh Moody!Smut real soon!

I think you'd like my class; it's Classic Myths. I haven't read classic myths since elementary school, really, and I'm amazed they bothered to have us read them, they had to cut so much stuff... Oh, I take that back, we did read Antigone in high school. Dunno how that happened, the school board must've been more asleep than usual.. ;)

This is the amusing thing, really- I got all ready to go to class, then was too exhausted to walk out the door. So I went back to bed instead. Woke up, and started fighting with the muse. It's been a strange day, I'll tell you. I do feel better, though. :)

And yay for getting Moody almost in the same room as the tub. That's a start, though he may still give you problems. I thought I had it made yesterday... "Hah! Got him exactly where I want him- what are you doing, you bloody idiot?" He calls it being in character. I call it driving me nuts.

Classic myths are fun, especially once you get off the beaten path of the ones pounded into every damn students' head. Though I have to admit, I enjoyed not only Greek and Roman, but I liked to branch out to Celtic, Norse and Egyptian as well. I ought to study Native American too, but there are too many variations of the same style story (ie- creation myths)- almost one per tribe, it seems! I can't keep them straight, so I just get the occasional compendium of Native American tales. Makes for some good reading.

And damn straight about Moody! I'm beginning to suspect that "In-character" and "Major Pain in the Arse" are one in the same when it comes to him. Bloody diva! but good to know it isn't just me!
