Jul. 13th, 2005 04:31 pmI spent half of last night scrawling stuff into my notebook. It's still not done, and I have more to finish when it is. *sigh* The next time I decide I want another writing project, another RP character, another TM pup, could someone please just slap me?
I have this terrible backlog of stuff I need to write, and it just doesn't get done when I'm at the computer. I have Word at my fingertips, but I also have chat, and eBay, random LJ surfing, other people's fanfic, and my personal fave, icons. I've spent whole days looking at icon comms.
So, I'm writing in the living room. I'll come back later to type stuff and post it. Just FYI.
Car news: My uncle's car that he's loaned us is a Ford Ranchero. We were right- no AC. It also has a nice hole in the driver's seat which they covered with an old towel and some duct tape. I have not yet ridden in it, but I can hear it coming up the street. Mom says it's like driving a Sherman tank.
No news on our car, but they said they expected to get the parts tomorrow, so I guess we'll hear something then. I hope it comes with a bill attatched and the return of our car. It's supposed to be 105 all week.
Anyway. Back to the notebook for me.
