(no subject)

I'm finally starting to feel human again, but I seem to have given the cold from hell to Mom. Oops. I just hope she doesn't give it back to me. We could pass it back and forth all summer, and that'd suck.

Speaking of Mom, she emailed me an article from the local paper this morning. Remember when I mentioned that OSHA was investigating the Math & Science building at school for safety hazards? Now they're talking about shutting the building down until they know it's safe. They already closed the labs, I think, and I've been wondering about the poor students who thought they were taking Bio or Chem in summer school...

Mom's comment with the email was "I hope you don't have any classes here in the fall." Yeah, I wish. *sigh*

Also? J.K. Rowling's site is annoying the hell out of me. It's cute, but I can't find anything. (And no, I can't find what I was looking for on the text-only version of the site either.) I read on the daily snitch that there's a new FAQ poll, but I can't find it. Does anyone have a clue where it is? A treasure map, perhaps? "Two paces past the coffee cup, click your heels together and spin around three times"? ;)

In other news, my grandparents went out of town Monday. They're not gone even 48 hours when they call us- they forgot a couple phone numbers which they absolutly need, and could Mom maybe go over and get them? They "might" be on the fridge. I swear, this happens almost every time they go away for a few days. I keep thinking we should get them a cell phone for Christmas, and program the phone numbers of everybody they know into it.

...They'd forget to take the cell phone, of course.

Oh well. Our house has a foundation now!
