Back to class. Yay.
Sep. 21st, 2004 06:40 amI really didn't want to get out of bed this morning. I'm still a little bit sick, and we're having our first little flirtation with fall. I say flirtation because it's going to be back up to the 90's by the end of the week. But right now it's cold, the sun isn't even up yet, and I did not want to get out of bed.
Still want to go back, as a matter of fact. But since I feel more like I have a bad case of allergies now than the cold from hell, I sort of figure, you know, better head back to class. I've got some work to catch up on, but I'm not really worried about it- it'll give me something to do. For an hour or so. :)
In a way I'm glad it's not really fall yet. My wardrobe is not ready. It took me fifteen minutes to find a pair of socks that fit (and this after cleaning out all my clothes over the summer so that I don't even have very many pairs of socks left anymore) and I discovered over the weekend that my tennis shoes sort of don't- fit, that is. Aaaargh.
On a lighter note, the Star Wars trilogy is out on DVD today, and will be mine in a few hours. Yay!
I suspect my writing muse has run off to- well, not the Bahamas, probably, but somewhere tropical that hasn't seen a hurricane lately. Damn her. Well, no, I guess it's not fair to blame her, when my real problem is more likely to be Moody... *sigh* I have two lines of a TM challenge written, and know exactly what I want to do with the rest of it, but I just can't seem to get it down on paper. Maybe today after I finish my Myths stuff? I've copied those two lines into the notebook, so we'll see if I can't do something with them once I'm a bit more awake.
Bah, I really don't want to go to school. It's so depressing. I bet no one even noticed I was gone except my Myths prof when he got his sign-in sheet for roll back.
Well. Right. I should go get my stuff together, or something. *sigh* *moan, weep, whine, ect* :)
