Wicked little Wednesday
Apr. 14th, 2004 06:38 amI hate Wednesdays. Not any more than Mondays, but for different reasons.
Well, maybe not. I still don't want to go to class. *sigh* Especally not today. Mom's got an all-day conference thing with a microscopic lunch break, so I may be stuck at the library a very long time. Did I mention our library's not the greatest in the world, or that they have so much spyware on the computers it's hardly worth risking your neck to check your Yahoo mail? (Not that I get any Yahoo mail except spam, viruses, and the occasional bit of feedback (more people asking for chapter 2 of one-shot fics at ff.n) but it's the principal of the thing.
I'm trying to decide what else to take with me today in case I'm stuck at school till Mom gets off work, but the problem is I really can't carry too much more than the usual stuff or I won't be able to lift my backpack. *sigh* Maybe I'll finish my Algebra (hah!) and see if the library's copy of Order of the Phoenix is in. That ought to at least keep me busy.
The weather's finally turning cooler again, and they say it might even rain tomorrow. Of course it will- it'll probably pour, since the induction ceremony for the honor society is tomorrow night. Mom's coming- well, she has to drive me there anyway, right? I almost invited my grandparents, but then I remembered what they're like, and that the AGS gang includes friends of mine and people I want to make friends with. So... no grandparents. If I could've invited my uncle and his fiancee without inviting the grandparents- well, they're probably stuck working anyway.
There are no words for how little I want to go to class today. I'm still not used to this damned time change, so it feels like it's way too early for this.
With any luck I'll be home when I usually am (and I'll be able to get some more sleep) and I'll get my Algebra exam back. I think I did pretty good on that, but the stress is kind of killing me.
Ah well. I'm off. (Must have more caffine before class. Must have more caffine...)
