Obsessions & procrastination

I keep feeling like I need to get some actual work done today. I haven't done it yet, but I keep having this thought about it.

Hmm. *checks the to-do list from hell* *sigh* Bloody thing needs another update, or two or ten. Not to cross things off- to add them.

And what, you ask, have I been doing today? Well, I wasted quite a bit of time looking for pictures to represent my image of Bellatrix, the better to make icons with. Being the slightly crazy person that I am, I have a very specific idea in my head of what she looks like, and it's hard to find something that even comes close. I've also been trying to think up lj names, because I'm not very good at them, and if/when I get the okay, I'd like to jump right in to writing and RP in good ole theatrical_muse.

*kicks LJ for posting this before she was through writing it* Anyway... where was I? Ah yes.

Has anyone else found themselves to be stubborn in odd and sometimes useless ways? For example, I want to re-read the parts of Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix involving Bellatrix. So why the hell am I reading all of GOF? It's not like I don't have a whole list of other things I could be doing with my time...

...most of it, sadly, t_m related, but at least it keeps me out of trouble. (Wait. Does it?)
