and the sky full of...smoke?
Jan. 18th, 2003 11:06 pmI now know why I have the post-nasal drip from hell. That fire burning in the south of town? Contains plastic, old carpet, and auto parts. It's two stories tall, and they're having a really hard time getting to what's actually burning to put it out.
Lovely.
Idiot who owns the lot is being fined daily by the EPA, I think, and I'm miserable.
I hack and cough, pour gallons of kool-aid and soda and water down my throat, swipe at my watery eyes, swear like an episode of "The Osbournes". I'm even taking my allergy pills again, though I don't think they were cut out for particles of plastic and auto parts floating through the air. I just don't.
Trying to work, Alias fic and icons. Have managed to make a couple more icons. They seem so small on my screen, and yet large enough in their own context, in the LJ itself. Proportions, one supposes. They look weird beside the originals, but here they are to scale.
Once I figure out how I want to display them, I'll throw a link in here or something. Lots of Babylon 5 stuff so far, along with the Alias crap I did the other day. jenavira's, since she has a very similar icon on her site, but it says "angst", and I wanted something more generic. Well, that and I wanted to make my own icon just so I could say I'd done it.
