I'm re-reading the Harry Potter books, and while I'm at it I've been updating the HP unanswered questions list. I'd still like it to be comprehensive someday, but there's just so much stuff in all 5 books that there's no way I'll ever find it all.

Help greatly appreciated.

In other news, I've managed to survive the first month of school without killing any Freshmen. I feel this is a very large and noble sacrifice on my part, as they quite richly deserve it.

I was out most of today running errunds with Mom. We finished up at Trader Joe's, which we'd actually never been into before. It was interesting- the food's good, and cheap. I'm fond of the cheap. I wandered off to look at some stuff while she was checking out, wandered back and made a joke about how she wasn't going to leave without giving me a ride home, was she?

The clerk told me he was off in 10 minutes, and if she left without me, he'd give me a ride home.

I'm telling you guys, it's the tank top. The slinky little red one (as opposed to the slinky little black one.) But at least he was nicer than the creeps who stare at me at city college... And he has a job, and everything.

Hmm. :)

We have Trader Joe's in our area, too. The people who work there have usually tended to be pretty nice.

I like a lot of their stuff, but I don't get there as often as I'd like.

Oh man, your Unanswered Questions list is like the Harris Ranch of plot bunnies! Holy moses. Got about ten items in, and had to run outside and quit thinking.

Also, Trader Joe's? I worship there. Particularly in the vicinity of the awesome cheap seafood. Yeah, that's me, genuflecting by the crab cakes.

The one nearest home isn't all that, but there's one around Chatsworth just opened up, and it's supposed to be the bomb. The best thing about Joe's (aside from the Two Buck Chuck, which will be the death of me), is that you never quite know what you'll find there. Great way to discover all kinds of wacky stuff you can pine for later. ; )

Sorry about that! The questions can drive me a bit nuts too, but I'm now obsessed with writing them all down. I am doomed, I tell you. Simply doomed.

And so far I'm in love with everything we bought from Joe's. Did not visit the cheap seafood, but I'm sure we'll be going back, so I'll have to make sure and check that out. :)

Yeah, I like their stuff and Whole Food's stuff. I really wish I could go completely organic on a lot of things, but that's not completely feasible at this point (tends to be a bit hard on the $$).
