Interesting theory on Snape. You may be right. I'm sure that there are depths to Snape that we haven't even gotten anywhere near yet... I've got my own slightly crazy theory on Snape's loyalty, which works with yours, kind of. And I still think we're missing parts of the bigger picture, too. I hate not knowing everything. :)
As for Peter, I just don't know. I think I'll tack that question onto the list, because it could be either/or, really... and it's making my head hurt, so I too will move on.
You're probably right about Lily, it was just one of those things I put in because it's never expressly stated that she knew. From OotP, I'd guess she learned sometime after their 5th year. :)
I almost fell out of my chair laughing at the image of Mrs. Weasley saying "What the fuck?", by the way. Thanks for that.
On the Death Eaters/Voldemort as half-blood thing... You're right. I'm making assumptions.
