School: day 1 (Can I go back to bed now?)
I woke up about twenty minutes ago. A really bad radio station still wakes me up, that's for sure. I forgot how much it annoys me, though. By reflex I grabbed a pillow and almost threw it at the alarm clock. Then it dawned on me I have things over on the bookcase that I like, which I might break.
Notice I didn't care if I broke the alarm, just other stuff.
It's Monday. I'm just this side of crazy, so my first class is at 7AM. Psych 101. I could've taken it later in the day, but later in the day means the forum hall/auditorium, where I've had two classes and will be perfectly happy to never have another. So, I get up at this ungodly hour.
I'm actually almsot coherent, which is a surprise. I think washing my face really helped a lot.
My second class is Elementary Stats, but it's not till a more reasonable hour than 7AM, thank gods.
I still don't wanna go.
It's not like I did anything incredibly worthwhile with my summer vacation, but I was getting kinda used to it. And I had good intentions for the last couple weeks, really. They might've gotten sidetracked by the AC drip from hell in 3D, and then my having to catch up on all the sleep I missed because of the drip from hell in 3D, but I did have good intentions.
I feel like I'm losing my mind, and somehow I'm going to go off and forget my shoes, and my backpack, my keys, and maybe even somehow my glasses.
I hate, hate, HATE the first day of classes.
Screw that. First week, even.
I did, however, get a nice bit of feedback for one of my Harry Potter fics in my email this morning. It was really nice and pretty detailed about what the person liked about the story, and I'm definitely replying to thank them when I get home, because I needed that this morning, a lot. Of course, I also feel sort of guilty, because the feedback was for Lost Bastion, one of my two HP chaptered fics-in-progress. I do have the next chapter started, I just can't remember if I ever finished it or not. Must check on that.
*sigh* I'll add it to the list of stuff I have to do, I guess.
Whee.
Well, I guess I'd better go track down my shoes. Which isn't as much of a joke as it sounds like. I haven't worn my tennis shoes since we did the pre-drywall tour of the house, and I'm not 100% sure where I tossed them...

Oh. My. God.
And here I thought classes at 8:15 AM were a nightmare...
