Hey, guess who has a sinus infection? A really bad one?
I love it when I'm right. Except when I don't want to be. *sigh*
So I have antibiotics (Zithromax, which if I remember right is a pretty kick ass drug. Whigh is good, 'cause my infection needs some ass-kicking.) I also have two kinds of nose spray, one for in the morning, the other for before bed.
I'm not a fan of nose sprays at all, but gods, anything beats the stabbing ice pick to the brain (I feel like Trotsky) headaches. Oh, and the massive dizzyness. And all the rest of it.
Had to run out to two pharmacies last night after I left the doctor's office- when all I really wanted to do was go home and pass out.
I did the passing-out later, and passing out is the term. Clunk. 'Course, I woke up this morning with no idea where I was, and why is my mother bringing me a mug of tea?
Ah, the bliss of forgetting I had school today. Damnitall.
Oh well. I'll be home by 1:00, I can sleep then. Probably will, too.
And for all two of you who wanted fanfic commentary, I haven't forgotten about it, and I will do it. Not right this minute, or anything, but I will.
If anyone else wants to get in on this (or if the people who asked for commentary want another one) feel free to jump in. Really. I need more stuff to do like I need a hole in the head, but I love rambling about stuff I've written.
So far we've had requests for "Ice and Glass" (Alias) for
dagnylilytable and "Emerald and Ebony" (Harry Potter) for
tarimanveri. Once I get going on these, you're going to have to put up with a few more anyway. May as well pick some of 'em.
And please, Gods, give me something in my inbox that isn't spam, or crap from mailing lists I keep forgetting to unsub from.

Sympathies!
I really, really sympathize with you, because I know just how awful you feel when you've got that kind of bug. It drains you completely (I was starting to feel a little better, so I took the bus to the doctor. By the time I got back home, I could barely climb up the stairs and into bed...).
Hope you feel better soon!!!
Re: Sympathies!
Wow. Your infection sounds much worse than mine. What a nightmare that must've been...
I'm starting to feel a little better today, but I've learned not to push it. I'm tempted to go out, but I don't think I'm going to. 'Cause I have stairs too, and I can pretty much foresee the same problem.
Re: Sympathies!
Hopefully you stayed in & got better :) I know exactly what you mean, though -- you think you're feeling better, and you've been cooped up for so long you have to get out...
