Summer heat, and what the Slytherin girl said

I think it's a mark of how bored I am that I actually went outside to get the mail today. Seems a bit cooler today- probably only high 90's instead of the 100's we've had all week.

Ah well. At least I didn't have to use my hair dryer after my shower- though five minutes on the porch probably would've done for that.

Been meaning to put this together for a few days, and since she's talking to me right now: tabitha_nott's meme thingy (although I'm still unclear on exactly what a meme is.

- used to visit her mother's grave a lot
- recently stopped
- is pretty sure her father killed her
- mostly tries not to think about this
- is happy in Slytherin
- believes her housemates can be better than they are
- thinks Crabbe and Goyle might be helpless, though
- would protect the younger Slytherins if she knew how
- isn't sure exactly when she started thinking of Hogwarts as home
- does, though
- is in love with Snape
- knows it's probably hopeless, but will probably always feel that way anyway
- is pissed off at Pansy- not for messing around with a teacher, but for getting caught
- wouldn't have gotten caught, herself
- was torn and miserable while Snape was missing
- knows most of the Death Eaters as old friends of the family
- hates them all for what they did to Snape and the others
- including her father
- is still fond of her father
- doesn't trust him, though
- used to have a crush on Draco Malfoy
- has mostly gotten over it
- does well in Potions
- does as well in Defense Against the Dark Arts
- has secret dreams of being an Auror
- sometimes dreams of a Dark Mark on her arm
- doesn't know if these are nightmares or not
- is known for making her own fake IDs, Muggle and magical
- will do the same for others, for a price
- has used her fake ID to purchase Muggle alcohol
- has gotten caught
- hexed Mrs. Norris once
- really really wants to do it again
- has had several long conversations with the Bloody Baron
- is a pureblood, but doesn't really care about it
- has received several really horrid detentions for sneaking into the Restricted Section
- thinks it was worth it
- is terrified of being alone
- is alone now
- doesn't know what she will do once the summer term ends at Hogwarts
- is afraid to go home, but will probably never admit it


Something tells me she's not done, so there will probably be more later.
