There can be only one...thank Gods!

Rented movies for this weekend, and we're watching about one a day so far. Yesterday was the X-Men movie, which I liked a lot. Must see the second one now, someday.

But today... Ugh.

If I can remember who ever told me Highlander didn't suck, I am going to have to hurt them. I had always thought something like this should appeal to me; Swords, Sean Connery, and decapitations. Okay, so I'm not a big decapitation fan- I could've put up with it for the sake of the story. Except the story...bites. I should have given up and turned it off as soon as Sean's character died, but I never learn. I kept hoping it would get better.

And then...it was over. And the peasents rejoyced. What a farce.

The fact that the entire soundtrack was by Queen didn't help, either. I have nothing against Queen, even like them at times, but it was hard to take seriously.

Call me crazy, but I think what the movie could really have used was the guys from Mystery Science Theater cracking jokes.

I'm really very bummed, though. Thought it would be much cooler.

Blech.
