Pretty, & American Girl Learns Russian
Emerald earrings with my green sweater and jeans, because I feel the need to be pretty today. I want to sit at home with the digicam, take pictures to remember this. That I look good, that I feel like I look good.
No such luck.
With Lindsay's help (thank you, darling) I've narrowed the domain choices down to four. And now it gets hard, because I am suddenly in love with them all. So now I play with looking at them a lot, designing email addresses and layouts... and I think that just maybe Linds is right, about how this could spark new creativity.
I always say, the last thing I need is another project. But the fact is right now I could use one.
Bought myself a Teach Yourself Russian book with tapes over the weekend (and a basic Russian vocab book, 'cause it has English transliterations (and I wanted the Russian 'daughter' for an Alias fic.)) Have yet to have a chance to do more than flip through the vocab book, but so far I am liking this.

And you should feel good. Whatever you decide, I think it will make you feel fantastic and alive, and it'll be so... just... you.
