Cool. :)
Sounds like you're having a good time and stuff, which is, you know, good. Hope you get to upload your pictures sometime. Isn't it totally frustrating how computers sometimes just won't do the really simple things it seems like they should?
Oh, and the hot water thing is just bizarre. :)
