T minus...
T-minus three days left of classes. One Algebra II exam, two finals, and then I'm free.
A week from Wednesday, I'll be on vacation.
I'm starting to wonder if my sanity will hang in there that long.
It's cold and rainy, I feel like total crap- like I may be coming down with something, though I think I can pretend it's just bad allergies for at least another few hours... Basically, as usual, I don't want to go out there. Got to, though. Things to do, homework to turn in. Plus I thought it might be a good idea to pick up the final review my Algebra teacher is handing out today, to all 4 of the people who are likely to show up. At least I hope only four of us show up. I don't want to deal with the rest of those people- the ones who still can't figure out the easy stuff from chapter 1.
I loathe stupidity. It makes me cranky.
Okay, it makes me feel like channeling Irina and smacking some people upside the head with my cane. Wait. I don't need to channel Irina to feel like that.
Anyway.
Happy belated Mother's Day to all the moms out there. I would have posted this yesterday, but I was busy hanging out with my mom. Who is totally awesome and deserves more than just one day just for her. My mother deserves Mothers' Year.
She got one very cool gift- the building permit for the site of our new house was in the paper. So we have a clipping with our new address and the builder's name posted on the refrigerator. There was much squeeing and dancing around the kitchen when we found it. It amuses me to see Mom squee. She deserves to have stuff to squee about.
10 days till Revenege of the Sith. I think I'll make countdown icons when I get home, like I did for Order of the Phoenix. I might even *gasp* post them to an icon community, which would be a new thing for me. I don't do that, really, mostly because I think my icons aren't nearly as good as what other people do. Maybe this summer when I have time to play, I'll see if I can't come up with something my perfectionist self thinks is alright.
And if I survive school- countdown icons.
