Sigh. Long day. Tried to clean out a bunch of crap in my room, discovered I couldn't.
I think that I am emotionally exhausted by my life.
Mom and I had a large fight about the cleaning out stuff. No big deal really; we were about due for one of those fights. All better now.
Still exhausted, though.
So I've been puzzling through this whole "change the username" thing, finally decided to throw it out there as a support request. If nobody can help me, I'll just do the rename thing in a month after the 'new' journal is deleted, but that seems like such a pain in the ass. Plus I'd like it better if I could pay LJ for the account, and pay for the rename token thingy, all at once.
Downloaded a nice LJ cliet while I was playing around with stuff, though- Semagic for Windows. Cool little thing, will probably use it once in a while.
I've discovered that my scanner has occasional fits of bitchiness where it simply will not work. It scans stuff fine, then it gives me totally bizarre error messages. So I storm off for an hour or so, come back, and it's fine. *shrug* Don't know what that's all about. My old scanner, with the Mac, used to do something similar, but it had a quick fix. All I had to do was close the software and open it bakc up again. Presto.
Would like a similar soloution to this one. *sigh* Would like a lot of things.
Friday was midterm grade report day. I only got grades in two out of three classes, though, since I didn't have computers on Friday. I'm so not worried about my computers grade. I have a B in both Algebra and PoliSci, though, so I'm hanging in there. Still alive over here- was kind of worried about the math since I bombed a quiz last week, but it only lowered my B a bit.
